Product Owner

The Product Owner is a member of the Product Management team and sits at the key juncture between development, sales and our outside customers. The role works directly with a Shibumi scrum team and defines the direction our product and applications will take to ensure continued growth, new sales opportunities and happy, existing customers.

Responsibilities

  • Work with head of Product Management to define and document product requirements for a cutting-edge, cloud-based platform
  • Engage with key stakeholders at Fortune 1000 customers to refine product requirements and identify future product roadmap capabilities
  • Communicate with product development team to clarify requirements and ensure product quality. This will include producing design and requirements mocks.

Sr. Java Engineer 

We are looking for someone who has worked on distributed systems (probably a cloud based web app) that scaled up to a decent number of users and/or data volume. This person would be familiar with designing, developing, implementation, debugging and maintaining web applications and could use their experience to help us with the architecture / design of our application. Candidates who fall into this category will likely have:

  • Knowledge of common web security concerns like SQL injection and XSS

Customer Success Associate

The Shibumi Customer Success team engages with our clients to ensure that they are able to meet their business objectives.

Location: Norwalk CT, Royal Oak, MI

Specifically, our Customer Success Associates:

  • Establish personal and sincere relationships with client team members
  • Identify client success gaps and strategize how to close them
  • Educate and enable client App Admins
  • Support solution implementation activities
  • Work with key clients to answer questions related to product functionality
  • Deliver quarterly briefings on new product features and on the longer-term product roadmap

Client Partner

Shibumi goes to market through both direct sales and partnerships with management consulting firms, with a primary focused on global enterprises. Most Shibumi sales are highly consultative, with a requirement to understand complex business requirements and craft a solution that meets those needs.

The Client Partner will drive the end-to-end expansion of Shibumi’s business within defined accounts and regions: working directly with customer business and IT buyers, as well as supporting partner management consulting firms in their own sales cycle. Within established accounts, the Client Partner will drive growth by both ensuring the success of existing use cases and identifying new use cases that align with customer strategic priorities. The Client Partner will also develop new accounts through industry and use case-centered prospecting.

This role is part of a broader client-facing team that includes sales, solution consultants and customer success. Shibumi’s client-facing team is collaborative, with a passionate focus on helping our customers achieve their objectives. Client-facing team members are supported by the right tools, training, and internal resources to support success. This position is on the North American sales team reporting to the VP of Sales of the Americas. The territory includes East Coast accounts. Travel will be 30-50% depending on customer requirements.

Solutions Consultant

The Shibumi Solutions Consulting team drives awareness, adoption, delivery and implementation of the Shibumi platform and solutions. About the Role
In this newly created role, the VP of Marketing for Shibumi will oversee all aspects of the Shibumi brand, from building awareness with key audiences and driving sales enablement to ensuring product adoption, ongoing usage, and account expansion. Reporting directly to the CEO and sitting on the Operating Committee, the VP of Marketing will work closely with leaders across Sales, Go to Market (GTM), Product, and Client Services to define and drive the company’s marketing strategy, brand identity, positioning, value propositions, and oversee functional marketing areas including paid media, partner marketing, comarketing/channel marketing, product marketing, event marketing, owned media marketing (social, website, email), and earned media marketing (i.e., PR) globally.
