Customer Success Associate

The Customer Success Associate will be responsible for building strong client relationships and deep client engagement with Shibumi. Our Customer Success Associates work directly with customers to enhance their overall user experience by monitoring customer health, producing customer programs, updating clients on new features, acting as an escalation point for customer issues and occasionally wearing a sales-hat to see if there are additional opportunities for expansion within a customer.

Location: San Francisco, Stamford CT, London

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with key clients to answer questions related to product functionality
  • Support solution implementation
  • Deliver quarterly briefings on new product features and on longer term product roadmap
  • Solicit product enhancement feedback from customers and communicate requests to product management
  • Monitor the health of customer relationships to maintain contract renewals
  • Identify potential opportunities for customer expansion and engage with sales team as necessary
  • Work with QA team to report product issues and track to resolution

Experience

  • 2 to 5 years of experience working in a customer success or business consulting roles (customer success, solution consultant, business analyst)
  • At least one role with direct customer interaction

Product Marketing Manager

Shibumi is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to join our high-growth, fast-moving team as a critical go-to-market leader. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer and working closely with the Sales, Customer Support, and Product teams, the Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for accelerating Shibumi’s growth through market insights, high-impact content, sales enablement, product launches and industry evangelization.

Responsibilities

  • Refine and evolve crisp value-centric messaging for use with customers and partners
  • Create high-impact awareness and demand generation content (slides, brochures, videos, case studies, etc.)
  • Enable the Sales team to reach full potential effectiveness, including training, support content and sales tools
  • Represent Shibumi at conferences and with the press and industry analysts, evangelizing our unique product capabilities and market vision
  • Build strong relationships with key customers and partners to support market insights, case studies, and internal champions
  • Engage with analysts and other market thought leaders to build awareness and better understand Shibumi’s market
  • Plan and execute global product launches, including sales readiness and market-facing messaging
  • Partner with Product Management to shape Shibumi’s product vision and roadmap
  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams to build pipeline and revenue

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree, ideally in a technical or business-focused field
  • 3+ years’ experience in either enterprise-focused product marketing, management consulting or a corporate strategy/change office
  • Experience working with senior business leaders on strategic business challenges
  • Ability to work independently, with proven project management skills and record of managing multiple parallel tasks
  • Strong writing, presentation, and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to understand and connect complex technology functionality with high-value business objectives

Desirable Capabilities

  • Understanding of enterprise technology, particularly cloud/SaaS
  • Experience working on or supporting a strategic corporate program (e.g. cost transformation, merger integration, ERP implementation)
  • Experience working with industry analysts, trade media, and public relations professionals
  • Record of independently producing market or customer-facing content for (e.g. presentations, data sheets, white papers, blogs).

Solutions Consultant

The Shibumi Solutions Consulting team drives awareness, adoption, delivery and implementation of the Shibumi platform and solutions. The fast-paced environment at Shibumi provides opportunity for lateral and upward growth both within the Customer Success team as well as on other teams in the organization.

Solutions Consultants coach, train and mentor Shibumi customers and partners on the how to leverage the Shibumi product to most effectively meet each client’s unique requirements. Solutions Consultants are key participants in all stages of the customer lifecycle - pre-sales, implementation, on-going support and account expansion opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a solution expert within the Customer Success team across client engagements
  • Understand and translate client business artifacts and requirements into Shibumi solution structures and templates
  • Provide support throughout all aspects of the sales and implementation process, including development of customized demonstrations, development of marketing and training collateral and support of client implementation activities
  • Balance multiple ongoing engagements at a variety of stages, managing expectations of key internal and external stakeholders

Super Star Java Engineer (Senior Level)

We are looking for someone who has worked on distributed systems (probably a cloud based web app) that scaled up to a decent number of users and/or data volume. This person would be familiar with designing, developing, implementation, debugging and maintaining web applications and could use their experience to help us with the architecture / design of our application. Candidates who fall into this category will likely have:
  • Knowledge of common web security concerns like SQL injection and XSS
  • Experience with REST APIs
  • Experience using relational databases in multi-tenant environments
  • All of that, plus being a Java Jedi

Fantastic DevOps Engineer

Location: Royal Oak, MI

Responsibilities

  • Deploy and support applications and micro services in Amazon Web Services
  • Experience with alerting and monitoring solutions such as Nagios, New Relic, Dynatrace
  • Write Amazon CLI scripts to spin up environments in multiple data centers
  • Experience with containerization, e.g. Docker
