Customer Success Associate

The Customer Success Associate will be responsible for building strong client relationships and deep client engagement with Shibumi. Our Customer Success Associates work directly with customers to enhance their overall user experience by monitoring customer health, producing customer programs, updating clients on new features, acting as an escalation point for customer issues and occasionally wearing a sales-hat to see if there are additional opportunities for expansion within a customer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with key clients to answer questions related to product functionality
  • Support solution implementation
  • Deliver quarterly briefings on new product features and on longer term product roadmap
  • Solicit product enhancement feedback from customers and communicate requests to product management
  • Monitor the health of customer relationships to maintain contract renewals
  • Identify potential opportunities for customer expansion and engage with sales team as necessary
  • Work with QA team to report product issues and track to resolution


  • 2 to 5 years of experience working in a customer success or business consulting roles (customer success, solution consultant, business analyst)
  • At least one role with direct customer interaction


  • Personable, articulate communicator with great communications skills

Product Marketing Manager

Shibumi is looking for a technically savvy Product Marketing Manager that can join our fast-moving, high energy team to assist with defining go-to market strategies, building product positioning, and providing competitive analysis.

The PMM will own responsibility to drive sales enablement and readiness as well as to produce relevant marketing communications, competitive intelligence, web marketing and sales collateral and enablement tools.

Location: Stamford CT

Key Responsibilities

  • Development of clear and concise product positioning and messaging for Shibumi solutions
  • Creation and execution of go-to-market strategies for both direct and indirect sales
  • Creation and execution of written plans for the global launch of products
  • Research and maintenance of competitive intelligence and the deep understanding of market and industry dynamics
  • Close collaboration with the Sales and Customer Success teams to increase market presence and build pipeline and revenue
  • Partnership with Product Management to help shape product roadmap and vision
  • Opportunities to act as a Shibumi spokesperson to evangelize and present content at conferences, to press and analysts
  • Enablement of the sales organization to effectively understand and sell Shibumi solutions
  • Creation and management of a compelling set of sales tools and collateral
  • Building of customer relationships to develop references, case studies, and champions

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years’ experience in product marketing including proven success in driving messaging, positioning and sales enablement
  • Experience marketing world-class Software-as-a-Service products
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills to manage complexities of multiple ongoing work streams and to balance the many demands of the role
  • Experience developing effective metrics for measuring product marketing and marketing program performance
  • Capable of developing content for data sheets, white papers, blogs, etc. without requiring outside contractors
  • Strong background working with industry analysts, trade media, and public relations professionals
  • Excellent analytical, verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
  • Proven technical aptitude to understand and translate core technical product functionality, feature sets and industry-specific nuances into business benefits for target audience and verticals
  • Ability to adapt to changing business and market requirements and prioritize concurrent, and even opposing, business needs and opportunities
  • The ability to work independently in changing environments, and the ability/willingness to learn

Solutions Consultant

The Shibumi Solutions Consulting team drives awareness, adoption, delivery and implementation of the Shibumi platform and solutions. The fast-paced environment at Shibumi provides opportunity for lateral and upward growth both within the Customer Success team as well as on other teams in the organization.

Solutions Consultants coach, train and mentor Shibumi customers and partners on the how to leverage the Shibumi product to most effectively meet each client’s unique requirements. Solutions Consultants are key participants in all stages of the customer lifecycle - pre-sales, implementation, on-going support and account expansion opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a solution expert within the Customer Success team across client engagements
  • Understand and translate client business artifacts and requirements into Shibumi solution structures and templates
  • Provide support throughout all aspects of the sales and implementation process, including development of customized demonstrations, development of marketing and training collateral and support of client implementation activities
  • Balance multiple ongoing engagements at a variety of stages, managing expectations of key internal and external stakeholders

We are looking for someone who has worked on distributed systems (probably a cloud based web app) that scaled up to a decent number of users and/or data volume. This person would be familiar with designing, developing, implementation, debugging and maintaining web applications and could use their experience to help us with the architecture / design of our application. Candidates who fall into this category will likely have:
  • Knowledge of common web security concerns like SQL injection and XSS

  • Deploy and support applications and micro services in Amazon Web Services
